RCBO, Residual-current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection, or being called GFCI, Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, meeting the standard of IEC/BS EN 61009-1, GB16917, is a circuit breaker with the functions of MCB and RCD (RCCB) effectively combined. Timelec RCBO protection against overload, short-circuit and residual current, and has two types depending on its tripping mechanism, respectively ELE (ELEctronic) and ELM (ELectroMagnetic), and has mainly 4 types depending on the waveform and frequency of fault current, namely Type Ac, Type A, Type F, Type B, being selected (mandatorily) in national standards through different countries.
