The RCBO, or Residual-current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent protection, also recognized as GFCI or Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter, is a state-of-the-art safety device conforming to the rigorous standards of IEC/BS EN 61009-1 and GB16917. The tripping mechanisms available are expertly designed as ELE (Electronic) and ELM (ElectroMagnetic). Additionally, the RCBO is classified into four distinct types based on the waveform and frequency of fault current: Type Ac, Type A, Type F, and Type B. These types are mandatorily selected according to diverse national standards, providing optimal protection tailored to specific country requirements.
